Any recurring prescription that was originally prescribed by our provider staff may have a refill as long as your child is up to date with their annual well check and any needed medication check visits (see below). Most refills can be completed on the same business day but we encourage you to check with your pharmacy first for available refills.

ADD/ADHD Medications

Patients who are taking medications for ADD/ADHD must be evaluated by a provider every 6 months. You can do this with an annual well visit/ADD appointment and 6 months later an ADD recheck appointment. When requesting a refill, please call 5-7 days in advance. Most of these medications can now be sent to your pharmacy electronically. Check with your pharmacy to see if they accept electronic prescriptions. Remember to call when you are down to the last 7 pills.

ASTHMA Medications

Patients who are taking medications for ASTHMA must be evaluated by a provider every 6 months. You can do this with an annual well visit/Asthma appointment and 6 months later an ASTHMA recheck appointment.
