Kara Lampe PA-C

Kara was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She moved to Colorado to attend the University of Denver, where she graduated Suma Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in psychology (and a love for the mountains). After college, Kara worked as a research assistant at Children’s Hospital and as the youth director at Temple Sinai. During this time, she realized her desire to pursue a career in medicine. She attended the Child Health Associate Physician Assistant Program at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. Upon graduation Kara spent the summer at a sleep-away camp in Washington State working in the Health Center as a physician assistant. She joined the Stapleton Pediatrics team in October 2013.

As a PA at Stapleton Pediatrics, Kara is excited to combine her passion for working with children with her love of primary care. She is appreciative for the opportunity to be a part of your family and to watch your children grow.

In her free time, Kara enjoys spending time with her adorable daughter Davi Rose, snuggling with her two sweet dachshunds (Louie & Clarke), hanging with family and friends, traveling, cooking, skiing and being outdoors in the gorgeous Colorado sunshine.

Patient Reviews

Love, Kara! As new parents we always come in with A LOT of questions and Kara takes her time to answer and provide tips on tricks on navigating this new world we live in. The best part of our visits is how she can make our son light up and have fun during his exam!

We are so thankful we met Kara the day after our daughter was born. She is always warm, caring and so attentive. She has never made me feel like my endless questions are trivial (first time mom) and she remembers every detail about us which is so rare in healthcare. Thank you for taking such good care of our little one, Kara!

Kara is my favorite! She is so smart, attentive, caring and always takes time to answer my many questions. She knows and cares about both my children. I feel I can ask her anything and she doesn't make me feel rushed. She helped my son when he was having a terrible asthma attack and I am grateful. I also appreciate that she is willing to confer with the other providers at Stapleton Peds to arrive at the best treatment plan.

What Our Patients Say:

We are so thankful for Dr Robyn! During our daughter's 3 year well check up she noticed something was a little off and spent time to investigate it further. Through testing we identified that she had Celiac's Disease. We are grateful for her instincts and dedication to figure out what was wrong. We have since moved to Kansas City and miss this practice!
